Steal Like an Artist in Practice



Today I visited Art Institute of Chicago and  meandered the early 20th century rooms and came upon a quartet of beautiful O'Keeffe paintings. After lunch, in the children's section of the museum, I found this kids project based on O'Keeffe cloud painting. (See the tiny post card painting at left below.) This sort of stealing/responding to great works is an excellent way to play. The kids work below was created with cut paper. This is a great example of how to Steal Like an Artist. Why should kids have all the fun?
