Great sketch, Lindsay, with nice caligraphic pencil marks and bold colouring.
Feeling that I could really go another vacation too! Every so often we need fresh surroundings to stimulate our creativity.
I NEED the sun to shine!!!!:o)

Thanks Andrea and David. It takes a bit to get used to the "local" color when I travel. But the pale, low moisture ranches in this part of California are so beautiful in a very spare way.

Great set of colours, and I agree with the local colour comment - I think the pencil marks nicely enhance the sparseness. Hm, yes: holiday... I want one too!

Thanks Gesa, and this is a color combinatino I would not ordinarily use.

Gorgeous colors and composition--you want to run up the road to see what's over there! Nice mix of shapes and line too!

Laura thanks for all of your comments this morning! I've been having alot of fun....I was kind of dormant over the summer and now that I'm back at work and have less time, I'm splitting with ideas!!
