It's crunch time here at Non-Linear-Arts. It's not only nearing the end of the academic year, end of the semester but also the last 2 weeks of my Artist's Book class. We are having company next week so I'm madly gluing and cutting, clipping and bending my final book project together.
This is a photo of my grandmother Isla when she was 20. It's part of the lovely batch my mother entrusted to me. She was a great beauty. The minute I saw this photo, I had a flood of memories about my grandmother. And I remembered how much I loved her nose (?). I pointed out to Kelsey, that this is where the exact shape of her nose came from genetically. Maybe this is why I love big noses. In matters of love, no logic can explain!

you better post pictures of your book when you are done.
Your grandmother is beautiful.
Never Fear Toni! I was going to post a teaser but decided I'll just post way too many pix when its finished. It's about 3/4 finished and I'm excited!
Thanks for the compliment about Isla.
What a beautiful woman! Isn't it interesting how resemblances work. I know someone who looks so much like one of her paternal great-grandmothers (at least the one exiting photo of her) that you'd swear it was the same person - and yet she doesn't look much like her father at all.t
Good luck finishing up tha book!
You are so lucky to have this photo,And what a beautiful lady, with lovely hair, and nose ;)
I am really eager to sea your new book.
Parisa
