Don, you were 100% right about the heat "creeping up" on me. Trust a Southerner to know these things. I did these drawings in 10 minutes intervals: 10 minutes in and 10 minutes out in the shade. ( I have not completely lost my mind!)
:-) Nice clouds. Clouds are tough to get a handle on because you actually don't paint much more than shadows. Were they casting the shade you took advantage of?
I like the "tunias" too. We have three little white blooms growing out of a crack in our driveway. The gardener (my wife) waters them every morning on the way out the door.
