Waiting Rooms

I've spend a number of hours in doctor's waiting rooms this week. Some members of the family have had minor things that need attention. I started this drawing thinking I would only have a few minutes to finish but I just kept going and going and stopped worrying about how much time I had left. I found I finished more than I though I could.

Drawing this week has helped me to stay balanced even with all the horrible news from the Mid East. I wish President Bush would take a leadership role in helping to bring peace to the region.

Drawing is good therapy. Very nice sketch Lindsay. At least they make waiting rooms pleasant now a days eh?

I love the simplicity of this, it captures that stillness of waiting. Hope the family are fine now.

Sorry about your Dr visits! You certainly have used your time-and your summer- wisely!

I usually figure if I've already read all the People magazines in the waiting room I'm having a bad run-since that's the only place I read them! Next time I'll bring my sketchbook! Thanks for the inspiration.
