
A few posts ago,Danny Gregory mentioned visiting the current Met exhibit of Vincent VanGogh's drawings and how he used them to make copies of his own work over and over. He used his on site drawings as lessons in all sorts of ways. I decided to try this. I used dip pen for the first drawings (you can tell which one I did second!) and watercolor glazing techniques on the second

Wow, Lindsay --very pretty squash! I am doing fine--have just been swamped lately--not even drawing much. Have to fix that! I'm not sure about the 11th--I'll have to check the kids schedules. Sounds like fun!
These are just gorgeous, and the bugs too. You inspire me to try glazing, though I hate having to wait to finish a painting. But wow, the results look worth it!
