This drawing was done with my new fountain pen. For day's I was lamenting the fact that this really wonderful pen can not have permanent ink in it! So my favorite way to work was thwarted! But yesterday, I did this drawing in pencil first, then layered on the watercolors washes, let the whole thing dry and did my pen work on top. Worked like a charm. The water soluble ink even helped me to add shadows on the finished drawing.

Karen, its a Tsunami pen with parker ink. I really like the line weight.
