Blind Contour Sue and Lilly

My friend Bill and I were on a sketchcrawl to the Field Museum. This was the last drawing of the day as I waited for him in the huge main room

Blind contour drawing has really helped me over a drawing slump lately. It's a great way to help me detatch from outcome and also to prepare for a more time consuming sketch. Thanks for creating blind contour drawing Ink Fingers!

  • My latest toy is watercolor pencils. I love the control and the watercolor effects. I felt really free to play last night.

I love the daylillies! And your blind contour drawing is amazingly spot on ... (mine usually end up off the page and on the table ...)

Beautiful job on both. I love the simplicity and form of the BC, and it looks really great even next to your finished piece.

Thanks so much for being apart of my gofy little project.
